CIS ICT PHILOSOPHY: WE BELIEVE THAT…
  1. Learning is a life-long process, and the pace of technological change requires us (teachers, students, and community) to focus on learning how to learn, relearn and unlearn, rather than on specific technologies or tools.
  2. With an understanding of ethical issues, cultural diversity, and social responsibility, technology can be a medium for effective communication resulting in positive change.
  3. Technological literacy is as critical a facet of life as reading and writing.
  4. Technology affects all areas/aspects of our lives and, as such, being technologically competent enables us to better understand our world, and to search for solutions to the problems of a global society.
